I have been in the gardening business for some 35 years now. I started work at Bournemouth Parks Department, and after some time there, moved to a company specializing in the grounds maintenance of large properties, as well as providing a full landscaping service if required. After several years I then secured a place living and gardening at Compton Acres Gardens in Poole. During the fifteen years I spent at these world-famous gardens, I enjoyed furthering my knowledge concerning all aspects of horticulture and garden management. It was in the last few years here that I met my wife Amanda who was also a gardener. After a while, we decided that it was time to branch out and start Four Seasons Garden Care, which since 1998, has been growing from strength to strength. Much to her frustration, (as someone who loves gardening), Amanda has since had to change her career - but I personally, still love the work and the challenges that it brings.
